Conveniently Unconventional Conventions

It’s been busy in an awesome way lately. Two new projects are taking up a lot of my time, along with a few short stories that I’ve been occasionally poking at whenever I have time.

The past week has flown by pretty quickly. Last Friday I got to see a friend from college I haven’t seen in a while; Saturday I went to Bowling Green with my sister, her fiance, and a few friends; Sunday I nursed an ongoing hangover and played cards with my family; Monday I celebrated Memorial Day with lots of food and little productivity (thank you, troops!) While this has all been relaxing, I’m making my way back into my strict daily writing schedule. Even shorter books driven by over-the-top gore and general oddity require a lot of work and more than a few headaches that make Scanners look like an episode of Yo-Gabba-Gabba.

Anyway, here are some upcoming events:

  • Signing at Mister Smith’s Coffeehouse (Sandusky, OH) June 15th

  • Dark X Fest (Hudson, OH) June 29th and 30th

My latest event in Downtown Port Clinton was pretty successful, and I look forward to seeing how future Art Walks turn out. Fortunately, I wasn’t the only author there, so I got to look at other tables and see what they were doing differently, that way I can steal all their marketing ideas (mua-ha-ha!) These events take place the third Thursday of every month from now until October, so if you’re planning a trip to the 419 area, maybe stop by my table.

Yesterday I announced the winners of my first Birthday Girl five-book giveaway on Instagram. If you entered but didn’t win, make sure you continue to follow my account so that you don’t miss out on upcoming giveaways. As always, the book is available here on my website and also on Amazon. I don’t have an exact date set for the sequel, Birthday Girl: Coronation, but….let’s just say you would benefit from picking up the first book A.S.A.P 🙂
